Free animal art class for kids and young adults on zoom!

I am pleased to announce that I will be running two free cartoon animal art classes on zoom for kids in Beaverton, starting this Saturday 26 December 2020, and Saturday 2nd January 2021 at 2pm.

Advance registration is needed. Deadline date to apply : 24 hours before each class.

Details about each class:

Zoom Class Name: Miss Frog and Mr Owl in Beaverton

Description: Award winning artist Douglas Hebert will teach kids how to draw Beaverton animals cartoon style. Douglas Hebert is a certified art teacher, who teaches over 1,500 students a year. In this zoom class children will learn about the exciting animal kingdom that lies in the area of Beaverton. The kids will learn how to draw Mr Owl and Miss Frog in class using a pencil. The kids will also learn how to ink the art, and color it. Mr Hebert will teach the kids how to draw kawaii style (Cute Japanese style) ; learn about composition, comic inking and how to color using cool art techniques. This fun and educational class will leave the students excited about wild life, animals and art.

Date: Saturday 26 December 2020.

Time: 2pm Beaverton Time.

Duration: This class is 40-60 minutes in duration depending on the childs abilities.

Age group: 6-18 years old.

Art supplies needed: Pencil, Paper, Ruler, Eraser, Black Marker ( Ideally, 1 thin and 1 thick black marker. EG: Sharpie. If not a black ball point pen will do). Crayons. If you do not have crayons, coloring pencils or markers will do. Lastly, if you have a fork, we will teach the kids how to scrape the wax off the paper as a special effect. The fork is optional.
